For this university project in my first year, we were given a short story which was set to be turned into a television series, and our task was to create a title sequence. The short story followed a young woman with schizophrenia, who believed the world was an iPad. The story was quite short, which meant we didn’t have much back story to the young woman.  I researched schizophrenia, and learned about paranoia and hallucinations. I decided to go down the route of technology, and base mine through CCTV, since this linked with the woman’s view of the world, as well as the paranoia and hallucinations that often come with the condition. My title sequence follows a young woman walking around a building, but within each scene, she glitches in and out, and often looks up at the camera. I enjoyed this project and creating the final sequence in Adobe After Effects.
