A Little Bit About Me

Hello! My name is Emma Whatley and I am an enthusiastic and creative Graphic Designer and Photographer. I’m just coming to the end of my Graphic Design degree and Portsmouth University. This degree has taught me a multitude of things, I’ve gained so many vital design skills and ways of working. I really enjoy editorial design, as well as UX and UI design. These are quite different, but I have enjoyed them the most.

I have always been surrounded by creativity, whether that be through music, designing, photography, or physical crafts. I’ve played guitar since I was nine years old, and I was involved in several music clubs and groups throughout school. I am always striving to improve my skills across the things that I’m passionate about, and I believe that curiosity is incredibly important within creative fields.  I take inspiration from my own experiences and interests, as well as the world around me, which is evident within my portfolio.
