My Childhood Home

In 2025, my family moved out of the house that we’d lived in for 18 years. This was an emotional milestone for us all, and I really wanted to use my knowledge and skills to make something special for my parents. I took this picture of our house right before we drove away with the last of our belongings, so I felt that it would be fitting to use. I’ve never been great at drawing, so I was hesitant and sceptical going into this. I researched people who draw similar things, a lot of which are sold on Etsy, and this helped massively. This drawing took a while, and took a lot of trial and error, but I’m very happy with the final result. I really enjoyed branching out from my usual design and crafting, and I think it’s helped me for the better!
